Custom Reports

Infor VISUAL comes with a relatively basic set of reports out of the box that you will most likely want to supplement. We offer the services to help you either tweak the stock reports (QRPs) or create entirely new reports using Crystal Reports. When we create those reports for you, we can then help you to optimize how your users can access them either on-demand or through some sort of automation (email, print, save, etc.).

Custom Macros

In most of the modules within VISUAL, you can write macros that can either fire automatically (for example, “OnSave”) or manually. These macros can do some incredibly helpful things like auto-populating fields, performing data validations, and potentially preventing the record from being saved to kicking off entire workflows. We have done it all and can help you optimize your processes with this great feature.

Custom Applications

Sometimes you need a screen to match your business process that does not exist within VISUAL. Fortunately, Infor provides developers with access to libraries (COM objects for 7.0 and below and .Net objects for later versions) where custom applications can be written to perform transactions into VISUAL in a safe and supported way. Our VISUAL ERP developer team has made tons of custom applications over the years. Here are a few examples:

• We have designed material transaction screens that are barcode optimized, make entering trace data more straightforward, and are overall easier for shop floor workers to use.

• We have designed tools that import and export VISUAL data via CSV files to integrate with other platforms (Magento, Salesforce, etc.).

• We have made tools to make it easier to make mass updates of information in VISUAL.
